Our power plant business also provides services in collaboration with key energy affiliates of SK group. Our technical know-how already recognized in global market that we have accumulated over the years to ensure our thorough-going quality management, tight process management, and high-caliber design and construction capabilities. Starting with the Donghae thermoelectric power plant, we constructed the entire Korean-standard Shingori nuclear power plant, units #3 and #4 of the Yeongheung thermoelectric power plant, -the largest in Korea (1,600MW), and joined hands with SK E&S- to build the 833MW Oseong LNG combined-cycle thermoelectric power plant.We have also been successfully carrying out large-scale power generation EPC projects abroad including the Tufanbeyli TP Project in Turkey.As a result of successfully completing projects in Panama and Chile, we have won additional contracts for global EPC projects such as the PACO Project in Panama.

SK E&C Power Plant Division is capable of providing its own EPC Service system with the expansion of business scope. Our experience and technical know-how that we have accumulated at home and abroad are now well recognized worldwide.

The Power Plant Division can make considerable contributions to the Global IPP business being strategically pursued by the SK Group. We have professional competency and our own independent system to win contracts for EPC projects in various regions and countries. To secure Global EPC competency, SK E&C built a Global Delivery Platform with bases in Houston, TX (USA) (SKEC America) and New Delhi, India (SKEC India) which are directly connected to our Seoul Office.

To differentiate the competency of each base, we are continuously reinforcing key engineering personnel and securing competitiveness through localization in each country while pursuing globalization. SK E&C is leveraging the reach of its Global Procurement Office in countries around the world to enhance execution excellence. We installed a“Power Tech Center”at the Seoul Office in a bid to strengthen Front-End Activity competency as well.

By collaborating with affiliates strategically while diversifying our portfolio, we entered into domestic and overseas IPP businesses and made inroads into new markets. In order to become competitive in supply chain management, we solidified our cooperative relationship with suppliers of key equipment and global engineering companies in order to expand our operational capabilities.
